Howdy,
I'm trying to set up the thing where users can have their own *private* web space in
their home directory with the public_html option. The problem is it ONLY work if their
home directory is chmod o+x. That makes me very unhappy - I'm trying to run a tight
ship. and in fact, that really doesn't seem right, I think I must be doing something
wrong. the public_html dir it's self is chmod 777 which is fine, so long as the user's
home doesn't have to be world-anything.
Any ideas what I"m doing wrong, or how to get Apache to decend into a user's home dir
without having o+x ?
Does the problem come from the fact that Apache runs as nobody nogroup ?
