I'm experiencing a minor problem with my redhat
6.1. Sometimes when I boot the machine, it only
reports 2/3 of the memory installed (188MB). If I reboot,
it reports the entire amount.

This output shows the entire (correct) amount of
memory installed on this machine.

------ sample output ------

[localhost@localhost me]$ free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 251 69 182 30 4 43
-/+ buffers/cache: 20 230
Swap: 70 0 70

------ sample output ------

Can anyone provide any clues as to why this might
be happening?

Thanks,
kelly
