** Reply Requested by 10/14/2000 (Saturday) ** Hello, I have 2x the same disks and I created Software RAID1. After 1-2 years I cannot buy the same disk(s) if 1 of 2 disks in md device failed. I would create Software RAID1 on disks with different size/geometry. With fdisk I cannot create THE SAME partitions on disks. Maybe it is supported in linux LVM ?
