If you don't have anything on the partations yet, you can set the two
partations up as a software RAID drive.  This will let the two partations
apear as one larger partation.  Or if they are the same size, you can have
the two partations apear as one, and have the same information on both
drives as an automatic backup.  Read the Software-RAID mini-HOWTO.
