The only time I've got dups is when I plugged hub-1 into hub-2. Plugged
hub-1 into hub-3. Then plugged hub-2 into hub-3. This creates a circular
network which is bad because packets will route around and get to you twice.
This will slow you network down. CISCO and fancy hubs/switches have
mechanisms to fight this - most cheap hubs don't.
Check your wiring.
