Syed, it appears that you simply took a slice of messages from the list
and "shotgunned" your message to those individuals - and the list. This
becomes spam when you bomb so many people with so many copies of your
message - _PLEASE_DON'T_DO_THIS! You'll get more (and far more civil
answers) help by simply sending one message to the list as a whole.

That said, essentially 100% of your complaints and error messages can be
responded to by saying "install Red Hat 6.2 or 7.0". I strongly suspect
you purchased a book on linux in a bookstore, which came with a cdrom
included. Not the best way to go, as these are normally out of
date. You need to get the more recent version.

If buying or downloading a more recent version isn't practical for some
reason, send me a message (OFF THE LIST!) and I'll see if I can't help
you get either 6.2 or 7.0.
