I just got one of theses Abit boards with the HPT370 ide-controller. I
have connected my 2 Disks with the included ATA/100 cable to the board.
when I try to install RH7 I get the message " you do not have any disk."

when I use the good old ATA/33 cable, The linux install finds the disks
and installs Linux without problem. Thinking myself clever, I changed
the connection of my disks to ATA/100 after install but i get only a
kernel panic during boot process due to missing filesystem.
can anyone help me take profit of the speed of the ATA/100 ?
