Folks,

I'm involved in a quest to clean up a hacked system. I think I'm getting
close (although a re-install will happen in the next couple of days) so,
this has become a quest.

Anyay, I keep getting the error:
        bad data in /var/run/utmp
when I try to run top. I've moved a clean copy of top over (to make sure
that that version wasn't hacked), but every so often /var/run/utmp gets
corrupted in some way by some thing.

Any ideas? I've replaced login, init, syslogd.

Thanks!

Cheers,
Mike
