Nah It WAS a commercial ssh2 key that needed to be converted to
"openssh" format. The trouble was the first attempt I made was after I
dinked around with the file trying to remove the chaff manually. The
running ssh-kegen -Xf keyfile filled a buffer since I passed it over 300
bytes on the first line when it was expecting 80.
Once I tried on the original ssh2 keyfile it worked fine.
