Hi - I've been noticing a bunch of these errors in my log files of late... I'm pretty sure that the mail is from legit sources and messages I'd want our users to be getting (based on the mail relays that are clisted as initiating the connection) and was wondering what this error means, what is causing it and what I need to do on my end to allow us to get these mail items that are being rejected... I have noticed this error from a number of different SMTP servers - not jsut the one listed below, I telnetted to port 25 on a couple to see if they had a mail server in common, but it appears to affect more than just one... notably one was qmail and another was WebShield SMTP V4.5 Network Associates. just wondering if this might have something to do with us using the antispam features of sendmail with MAPS - http://www.mail-abuse.org tia - dan.
