Worked for me. I could not figure out how to get the message itself from
the imapserver so I cut and pasted from the view source window in
communicator into a file called testmail and then did
mimencode -u testmail
Sure enough there was the <img... tag just as Vince said. The
interesting , to me at least was the fact that Gary's (partner) mail
gets sent in tex/plain and the tonga dudes use the text/html with base64
encoding. Makes it hard as hell to see what the heck is really going
on.
Is there any reason that I need to be able to see base64 encoded stuff?
Can I procmail filter this sort of stuff and send a reply back to the
sender that Elevating Communications does not accept bas64 encoded mails
and if you want to send us a message that you need to do something
different?
An alternative is of course to do that with all html email but that
seems severe.
