Thanks. I haven't noticed any problems with it, but will keep it in mind and probably change it the next time I have the system down. bd -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Statux Sent: Monday, April 09, 2001 10:41 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: PCI NIC - No interrupt assigned [comments] As an aside.. from reading your dmesg, I see that you have a harddisk and a cdrom drive on the same IDE controller. If you have a free second controller, I suggest putting the cd drive on it :) It's generally not a good idea to mix harddisks and cd drives on the same controller (interrupting thing). And as far as cdrom and cd-r(w) drives on the same controller go.. make the writer master... not that you have one, but just in case anyone else who's reading this does. Hey.. it's all good advice :) *goes back to playing Q3F* _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
