I am hoping someone can help me with cdrecord. I have some .wav files
that I recorded using yarec (I recorded from a mic). So, I have the file

ya.wav

I know this file is fine because I can play it using the command
"play ya.wav"
I can also read this wav file using some other audio tools I have
installed (audacity for example).

But, here's the problem. As root, I execute:
#> cdrecord -v speed=2 dev=0,0,0 -audio *.wav

and I get the output:

cdrecord: Inappropriate audio coding in 'h-112001-0945.wav'.

I do not get this output when I rip a track from an audio CD using grip.
wav files obtained using grip seem to burn just fine.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
blake
