Hello, I have a linux RH 7.1, working as a NIS client. After connection to the NIS server is down (the NIS server is down for maintenance), and up again, any login gets: do_ypcall: clnt_call: RPC: Unable to receive; errno = Connection refused
The yp.conf file: [root@LNXwork53 /root]# cat /etc/yp.conf # /etc/yp.conf - ypbind configuration file # Valid entries are # #domain NISDOMAIN server HOSTNAME # Use server HOSTNAME for the domain NISDOMAIN. # #domain NISDOMAIN broadcast # Use broadcast on the local net for domain NISDOMAIN # #ypserver HOSTNAME # Use server HOSTNAME for the local domain. The # IP-address of server must be listed in /etc/hosts. # domain TRM_RD server 190.190.3.24 ypbind on the client, does not detect the correct NIS server.
