I am getting frustrated. I have just done a clean install of RH7.2. I was using 6.2 and made the leap.
I am unable to get ftpd and tftpd to work. I am missing something basic. I figured out it is now xinetd which is controlling the process. and I need to modify xinetd.conf. Unfortunately the man pages refer to files which do not exist any more. I did a cut and paste from the man page for ftpd and it still does not work. What am I missing?
