Cross posting my reply to the Enigma list: I'm not sure it applies to cdrw using scsi emulation, but cdrom difficulties under 7.2 are a known problem. See: https://www.redhat.com/support/resources/gotchas/7.2/ Applying the updates may solve the issue. The current kernel is 2.4.9-13, and there are a lot of other updates as well. The command: depmod -ae Might also help. - -D - -- pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/pgpkey.txt - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8NodneMAUbzJhSVcRAgw4AJ0XbH/kMQBBkcywpYSvDPibBdhl8ACfTPJE r83y/JrwS8cESHFKvQ+9I18= =Zb3f -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
