Hi All,
       I'm a recent convert from MSDOS to Linux. So, bear with me.................
       I posted a response to the "telnet connection fails" query, which needs a 
correction.
       /etc/hosts.allow MAY be left empty; acting as if there were no access control.
     
       It's one of the more frustrating aspects of Linux - just when you think you 
know something, it jumps up to bite you. But, that's partly why I'm here..........
       Please accept my correction................

It shouldn't be...........is called by xinetd as needed.
