The network script doesn't set the 'domainname'. It will be set by the ypbind or ypserv script. > Ensure that your "HOSTNAME" is is an FQDN. Else a call to domainname _may_ > fail. (See "man domainname") 'domainname' returns the NIS domain, and doens't concern the DNS domain at all. You mean 'dnsdomainname' :)
