Hmmm...depends what you want this to do. It is different than the
second line. LOCAL matches any hostname without a '.' in it (maybe you
know this). So there could be situations where these do essentially
the same thing, and other cases where not. Assuming you have a LAN,
and it is all 192.168.1.*, and all have non-FQDNs, then it is
redundant, yes.
