After long searches I broke down and emailed someone I know at RH. You can change the Gnome menu, but you have to be root. Here is the reply: -----------CUT--------------- A sys admin can edit /etc/X11/desktop-menus/applications.menu. There isn't any documentation for the file format, which is xml but not entirely obscure. There isn't a corresponding edit available to end-users yet. -----------CUT--------------- --
