I have been attempting to run up2date on a machine that is providing firewall and routing to my home network. It seems that it only works if I stop my firewall and set the default rules to ACCEPT.
I would like to add some rules to my firewall script which will allow up2date to work without leaving my system open. I can't seem to find out which ports need to be open or what rules need to be applied to do this. Can anyone offer any advice or point me to some documentation covering this?
