Download the latest tarball and compile it - the RedHat RPMs are way outdated (PHP v.4.0.6) where the latest stable release os 4.2.3. If you're going to use the RPM make sure you apply at least the security and bugfix patches available at http://www.php.net/downloads.php. -- >O Ernest E.
