Latest xinetd errata upgrade with smaller version number than theold one?

Anyone else noticed that the new xinetd errata from 2002-12-02 has a smaller version number (xinetd-2.3.7-4.7x.i386.rpm) than the old one from 2002-10-14 (xinetd-2.3.9-0.73.i386.rpm)?
