I never managed to install a win$ system elsewhere than in a primary
partition on the first disk. So you must have at least one primary
partition for windows. Also windows installation rewrites the MBR so you'll
have to reinstall yours by rebooting with a linux rescue diskette or
install cd and run lilo (eventually after having added the win$ choice)
