Ok, so I want to shut down the Redhat Security in
8.0, the firewall that is. And I tried doing iptables off and that seemed to
help something, but it didn't do what I was hoping. See, I'm trying to install
Samba, and in order to configure it it tries to connect to localhost:901. And
with the security level at high that just ain't gonna happen. I tried setting it
apply it, and rebooting over and over but it always goes back to high, even as
root. Any help to turn that bad boy off would be greatly
appreciated.
