Hi all,

I just upgraded my system to a P4-2GHz which also involved a new
motherboard and video card but I kept the same harddisks.

The 2nd harddisk in the system I used to use under Windows but since I
repartitioned using that for Linux now.

Installed Red Hat 7.3 and noticed I am getting these errors reported for
the second harddisk (but not for the primary harddisk)

Dec 22 15:53:49 ws19 kernel: hdd: dma_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady

Dec 22 15:54:05 ws19 kernel: ide1: reset: success

Everything *seems* to be running fine except for these errors. Could
these errors be caused by something else other than a hardware fault
developing?

How can I turn off DMA on the second harddisk to see if that helps? It
was autoselected by the Red Hat 7.3 installer.
