For sure, I still felt like they could add on at least a couple of runs in the 9th. As I said, lots of positives coming out of this game, although it's certainly disappointing that they won't be 162-0.... ;-)
Re: Lester - he gave up 6 hits, 3 homers. While he just never seemed to get in any rhythm, you could make a case that he wasn't totally awful, I guess - I mean, how many times is he going to give up three homers in one game? The one that Napoli hit was the killer, and that was a good pitch, out of the strike zone. I think you have to give Napoli props for that one, versus saying Lester made a bad pitch...
