Yes it's part of the skill. But no one remembers the payroll of championship
teams.

I don't actually blame the Sox for this. The Yanks, Mets and other bid 30m
or more for the right to negotiate, so everyone held him in high esteem.

 I put it on Daisuke. He disappointed and failed.
