I have a slightly different PoV He's been a self-centered jerk since coming here, albeit the same guy that we saw in Anaheim. He had a tough season to say the least however considering in late Aug we were on pace to hit 100 wins should he not have gotten the surgery sooner? Yes it would have hurt the rotation but certainly no worse then what he brought to the mound every 5th day.
I see your point on his return possibly being advantageous but he still leaves a bad taste in my mouth no matter how he returns...
