Of course you don't, but you do tend to lean in the direction of Sox management. Whether or not you believe it, I think my observations still stand. Valentine's clearly conflicted. On the afternoon of the first reports of the Golfgate, Valentine basically said if the reports were true Becket didn't do the smartest thing by playing. That night, after having a few hours to "ponder," he backed up and said no one ever hurt themselves golfing.
Again, my subject line was "consider the source" but the account makes a lot of intuitive sense to me.
