This is why I don't see big upside in Crawford, Ellsbury, and Pedroia
coming back.

The Red Sox are tied with the Blue Jays at #2 in runs scored across the
entire MLB.  (The Rangers are #1)

They are #21 in ERA.

So there's no room for Crawford, Ellsbury and Pedroia to improve our
position.

Pitching was the problem last year.  Pitching is the problem this year.
Pitching has not improved.
