I find it very hard to accept a .600 OPS from anyone. That's a gaping hole in 
your lineup. There's also no evidence that he's ready for that kind of 
offensive explosion. A .391 OPS in Boston, with one good month lifting him all 
the way to a .624 in Pawtucket (following his .554 at Pawtucket in 2011). What 
about the very real possibility that he turns in a sub-.500 OPS and is 
literally the worst hitter in the majors? Yes, it's fun to watch him make a few 
great defensive plays, but you don't think his ending rally after rally (with 
the lucky No. 8 hitter drawing 100 intentional walks), will grind on you? A 
poor man's Rey Ordonez?

So, no, I would not be satisfied just giving the job to Iglesias and moving on.
