So should Ben make something work with Drew? Part of me really wants to see Bogaerts and Middlebrooks get a chance to prove themselves. But the near-term depth chart on the left side of the infield looks kind of shallow. Drew isn't spectacular or flashy, but he is solid. If they do re-sign Drew, Middlebrooks is probably most impacted.
