I like the idea of Drew in a backup/safety net role, just not sure it makes sense for the $'s (and 2nd year) he's expecting. Although if he goes unsigned much longer, he might be happy to take on the role (and less $'s). But I doubt it - I bet he'd settle for another 1 year deal somewhere else for less $'s if he knows he has a chance to start and earn another shot as a FA next winter, That said, how much better could he possibly do that would give him a better shot next year?
