Frank, Tom and anyone else,
I am not sure that I have the stumpy version, but the less room I can take
up with things in my tank, other than corals, the better. How can I tell if
I have that version and does anyone know if I don't, can I convert my
current one to that version? (my current Sea Swirl is the ¾ inch input)

I have the stumpy on my reef. It has a shorter return so it dosn't
backflow
as much water into your sump, breaking the siphon.
