Another good trick is, if you know any friends who have sand beds, get a
handful of sand from their tanks and put em in yours. That will get some
diversity in your sand beds. If you dont have friends with sandbeds, go to
any of the LFS you have in the area and just buy a handful of LS from each
of them. Each store will have some different stuff in any LS they sell, so
again you increase your diversity. That in addition to a kit and you should
be on your way to a pretty diverse sandbed.
