Ok, so a good friend of mine who lives in Can Cun (the caribean) sent me 20
pounds of sand for my tank in order to have a deeper sand bed of bout 2
inches.
This sand is white as milk and fine as half a sugar grain, simply awesome.
I have a friend who has the prettiest reef i�ve seen around here and has
that same sand.
My friend went to a lonely beach and collected it and sent it to me in a
bag.
My question is this: should i rinse it in fresh water? should I add
chorine?? should i pour it directly into my tank to prevent all possible
microfauna alive if any is still alive?
