All,
I'm running a Mag 5 as a return pump from my sump to my tank. It
ran fine for 5 months, but now the amount of water it's pumping has slowed
to a trickle. I assume that what it needs is some cleaning and
maintainence, but I don't have the manual, and thus don't know how to do it.
I'll probably have to live with doing this every few months, as the setup of
my sump doesn't allow me to put a prefilter in place for the pump (which I
have set up as an external). Any suggestions would be appreciated (other
than "get a better pump"...I plan on doing that when funds make it practical
:-) ).
