Forgot to mention, had to return the original clowns. One one too
pugnacious (bossed EVERYONE around) and the other had a tough of fungus, so
WHile the LFS guy was here I gave him back the two fish and ended up buying
more stuff in their place (lol). On a positive note, the new clown/anemone
are really hitting it off well.

Hi all,
Well the lighting change occurred last night. I had the LFS guy do
the retrofit for me (he came 30 miles each way to my home, $-ouch) since I
can't find my nose to blow it when I have a cold. As a reminder, I went
from 3 175W MH and 2 actinic VHO fluorescents(180 W each) to four 96
W PC and the fluorescents. In the process the guy broke one of the pc
bulbs (apparently pretty easy to do), so it was a trip back to the lfs to
steal one from his tank that was half daylight/half actinic. I'm starting
the florescent first in the morning, then the full batch, then "dusk" with
the fluorescents before beddy-bye. I'd figured about 12 hour total, but
would welcome suggestions (mostly leathers, polyps, and LPS in the tank).
All I can say at this early point, is that *I* like the way it
looks. The real judges will be the inhabitants of my little piece of ocean.
I'll keep you posted.

Larry

P.S. Running back to the LFS cost me $60. Free replacement bulb, but
purchased an anemone and maroon clown for him (blush). Darn, it's hard not
buying something in the "candy store".
