(BLUSH) I took pictures of what they assured me was a bubble tipped anemone to the LFS, but when the guy came to hook up my lights, he said it was actually some sort of soft coral! (I told you I'm a newbie) (g) Didn't catch the Latin name he used. I ended up buying a small bubble tipped anemone for the clown, who just loves it. Whatever the other critter *is* it's big (about 6 inches across) and loves/loved both types of lighting. Only noticeable difference is that when the mh bulbs were off over night it "shrunk into almost a golf ball shape with everything retracted. Now in the morning, it's still about half in "bloom". Might not even be related to the lighting, but the change did occur immediately upon the change in lighting. In simple terms, the effects were temporally contiguous, but not necessarily cause and effect (g). The longer I have the pc's the more I like the effect on the whole tank. As long as the critters keep looking happy/healthy, I'll be glad I made the shift.
