Hello.
I have a 125gl tank with a 30gl sump. I have a 250W EBO-JAGER heater in the
sump laying on the bottom. It is set for 79 degrees. The tank is located
in my living room where the temp is around 70-72 during the colder months
(now). I have been watching the temp in my tank and it seems to continue to
fluctuate. I have seen the number move from 75.5 degrees up to 78 degrees,
( all measurements when the lights are off). I thougt the fluctuation is
supposed to be less than 1 degree. Also, it never even makes it to 79
degrees which is what the heater is set for. I also have a spare heater
(same kind) that has produced the smae results. Is there something I am
doing wrong? I don't understand why the temperature in the tank drops to
75.5 if the heater is set for 79.
Any Advice?
