Like it was now (plain svn) + a web interface would be nice.

Does anyone of you has experience with tailor? With that piece of software it 
should be possible to have a 2 way sync from svn to something other (like 
git, darcs or bazaar).

Of course with anonymous read SVN access;) AUTHORS would be a good starting 
point for people who get access. The last 2 aren't coding developers, don't 
know if they need write access.

People who think they want access too don't hesitate to drop a message here. I 
am sure there are some contributers not in that list.
