Here are steps to reliably reproduce this problem on lucid laptop (stock) running libfuse2 (2.8.1-1.1ubuntu2):
1. install auditd (e.g. 1.7.13-1ubuntu2) 2. add a custom rules file with any rules other than "delete all rules" (I've attached an example) to /etc/audit/audit.rules 3. reboot (it's probably possible to restart auditd + gdm + gvfsd + mounts, but rebooting is more reliable) 4. access a fuse mounted filesystem (e.g. run 'stat .gvfs' if logged in under gnome) ** Attachment added: "sample custom audit rules file that causes all access to fuse mounted filesystems to hang" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fuse/+bug/634554/+attachment/1624989/+files/audit.rules -- please package libfuse2 > 2.8.3 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/634554 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Registry Administrators, which is the registrant for Debian. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~registry Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~registry More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
