your entitled to your opinion. however, you seem to imagine that i'm not entitled to mine- what's wrong with that picture- i wonder? as to the pronounciation- he asked how the name conan was pronounced- I answered- CORRECTLY. novalyne is some chick who dated REH (not married, not co-habitated- not even slept with)- that's it. she managed to capitalize off him, that hardly makes her an authority on him. as i pointed out- REH may very well have misprOnounced the name CONAN- that doesnt make him correct- as I demonstrated- an author can write about a chinese character and give him a chinese name, all the time being completely unaware of how that name is pronounced- the fact remains that the chinese name exists before said writer is even born and it has it's own correct pronounciation which exists apart form the character in the story. ditto conan- it is pronounced as our english word conquerer. as to texan- I merely pointed out that an actor portrays a person from a certain region- if he desires to give an ACCURTATE performance, he must be able to understand and imitate a person from such a region. D'onofrio was unable to do this. that is his shortcoming- it has nothing to do with me being a texan. so you whine about the maintanence of civility at the same time you deviate from that process- once again- what's wrong with that picture- i wonder?
