Follow-up Comment #3:

I have installed a Fedora 18 virtual machine and can confirm that there are no
minimise, maximise, or close buttons on a number of the relax windows,
including the relaxation dispersion model list window.  However this is part
of the design of Gnome 3.  If you right-click on the title bar, a menu appears
whereby all the options, including the closing of the window, are presented. 
Therefore there is nothing to fix in relax.
