In actuality (as I checked on this just now), I have
alias 1s='rem -gaada -q -iNOBLANKS=1 -iSENSITIVE=1 -@2'
alias 1='rem -gaada -q -iNOBLANKS=1 -@2'
for i in {2..9}
do
alias ${i}s='rem -gaada -q -iNOBLANKS=1 -iSENSITIVE=1 -@2 "*"'${i}
alias ${i}='rem -gaada -q -iNOBLANKS=1 -@2 "*"'${i}
done
because I often do
$ 1 -cu+
and with the `*1` in there (that the quoted for-loop creates), it
creates an invalid syntax
$ rem -gaada -q -iNOBLANKS=1 -@2 "*"1
that remind(1) rejects because the "*rep" is supposed to come *after*
the date. So my `1` version omits the `*1` from the command :-)
