If someone from KDE.org could forward this e-mail to the person(s) or group responsible (if they aren't look issues).... I'd appreciate their consideration...
- Antialiased fonts are ugly on KDE. Whenever I enable antialiased fonts on KDE, the menubar's fonts, etc. become *harder* to read? (The fonts appear narrow, squished, smudged, somewhat bold and somewhat blurry. I've tried different fonts with different sizes... no luck... still ugly.) By contrast, Microsoft Windows' (which is installed on the same machine) antialiased fonts are clear, crisp, symetrical, and "easy on the eyes". It would be nice if KDE 3.0 would address this "squished/narrow/ugly" antialiased font problem for KDE 3.0. - Cut, Paste, Copy to work everytime in KDE. Often, if I copy something from KWrite and try to paste it into Mozilla, etc. it doesn't work. - KDE should consider "KDE Update" functionality. Perhaps work with Sourceforge to have "KDE Update"? Therefore, end-users could visit a single website online and see what needs to be upgraded on their particular workstation automatically (and this would depend on what they have installed). This "KDE Update" would mimic the "Windows Update". Also, perhaps a complete "self-updating" mechanism for KDE itself -- so, when a new version of KDE is released, the end-user could easily update their KDE installation. It would be great if these items were addressed in the upcoming version of KDE 3.0. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp _______________________________________________ Render mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/render
