Thanks for the info. I have a spare Time Out Timer board too, in addition to a couple Squelch Gate cards, so I should have the cards I need for this. Extra cooling is definetly part of the plan too.
The only other thing is, do you have any suggestions on the easiest way to get the receiver to stay active while the transmitter is keyed? Best place to make this mod? Any thoughts on that would be much appreciated. (Especially since I don't have a service manual for the unit!)
