Not really, there are more expensive crossband couplers though. As long as
you don't take a lightning strike you will be fine. If/when that happens
buy another 60 dollar coupler. I used one of the cheap Comet crossband
couplers fro years until I built my tower, I then came across a tower
company that was going out of business and I bought all his "stuff" for
pennies on the dollar. Along with that "stuff" came about 20 Microwave
Associates crossband couplers of varying models. They are built like tanks
inside and do pretty well in lightning strikes. I have had several at 475
feet since late 1998 with no problems.

Subject: [Repeater-Builder] 2 repeaters / one antenna

I have two repeaters, one running 144.67/145.27, the other running
448.8/443.8. I use a ham grade diplexer (Daiwa or MFJ or something)
to connect the output(s) of the 2 meter and 440 duplexer(s) to a
single feedline feeding a dual band Cushcraft colinear.

This set-up works great, and the diplexer introduces very little
VSWR
into the system.

Howver I am sure there is a more professional method of combining the
two repeater duplexers to the common feedline.

Any suggestions ?
