Scott,
I believe that your PA is a TLD1683, 100 watt intermittent duty unit for
the 150.8-162 MHz band. It should have the TFD6112A Exciter Filter and
the TFD6102A Harmonic Filter, both of which are designed for the
150.8-174 MHz band.
If you intend to operate this station in the 2m band, you'll need the
TLD1682 PA, which comprises the TLD5952 PA Board, the TFD6111A Exciter
Filter, and the TFD6101A Harmonic Filter. The filters are designed to
pass the 132-150.8 MHz band.
While it is possible to modify the filters to work properly on 2m, it
takes a lot of time, money, and effort to modify the PA board for the
low split. Some dedicated individuals have gone this route, but most
vow they'll never do it again. Instructions for tuning the filters are
available in the Repeater-Builder site.
There is very little difference between the intermittent and continuous
duty PAs, other than the heat sink and a thermistor. The
intermittent-duty PAs are rated for a 20% duty cycle- one minute on and
four minutes off. It probably could run 100% with forced air cooling.
The thermistor, which cuts back power when the PA gets hot, is not used
in continuous duty PAs.

TLD5953A1093R. It has the 14 1/2" long Micor fins across the top of the
module. The module, with the fins, is 6" high.
I know this isn't the 100% duty cycle configuration, but can it be run
at 100% if it has constant forced air cooling across the fins? Also,
the board appears to be the same for the 100 watt 100% configuration.
Is it possible to simply replant this board in the larger chassis/heat
sink? Assuming for a moment that I could find a dead one.
